We would like to introduce a case study of ORC binary power generation in the agricultural biomass sector. The treatment of chicken manure compost (biomass made from chicken droppings, feathers, and leftovers) in the poultry industry has been a long-standing issue. By using a specially designed stoker boiler equipped with special devices for efficient combustion and reduction of pollutant emissions, in combination with an appropriately sized ORC module, chicken manure compost can be monetized.
